- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★Every campground is gorgeous as well as the beaches and hiking trails. Just be aware that you cannot park off certian areas of the highway without your parking permit displayed, watch for signs. If you are camping I would only recommend that you not take a site facing the highway as it can be very noisy. Some sites are literally 10' from the highway so watch your kids and pets. Aside from that this park has everything to offer. If you want to fish, hike, swim, kayak, canoe etc you've come to the right place. Very friendly staff and the campgrounds are always kept clean and in working order. You do not have to pay for showers but you do need to pay for laundry. BRING YOUR CAMERA!! The scenery is some of the best you will ever see, bring extra SD cards for your camera!By Tabitha McCarl, June 12, 2017
